iHeartMedia and The Hometown Foundation are excited to host the first annual Hearts & Paws Gala on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024 at the Farmington Polo Club. The Hearts & Paws Gala will not only benefit The Hometown Foundation's K-9 program, which provides fully equipped police K-9s to departments in need, but also celebrate working K-9 officers. The event will feature hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dessert, an open bar, raffles, giveaways, music, special surprises, and more! Individual tickets, full tables, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Buy a ticket to support the K-9 program or purchase a ticket that will be gifted to a K-9 officer to enjoy a night out.

The 2023 TSO tour, “The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve - The Best of TSO & More”, promises a new and larger presentation of the beloved holiday tradition, "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve," which has captured the hearts of multiple generations, will be featured at Mohegan Sun on Sunday, Nov. 26 with two shows and proceeds to benefit The Hometown Foundation.

As they have in the past, TSO will donate at least $1 from every ticket sold to local charities. To date, they have distributed more than $18,000,000 to worthy charities throughout North America. The Connecticut Charity this year is The Hometown Foundation!

A product of the imagination of TSO’s late founder Paul O’Neill and based on TSO’s multi-platinum CD and TV special, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” follows the journey of a runaway who breaks into an abandoned vaudeville theater on December 24. While seeking shelter from the cold, the teen is discovered by the theater’s caretaker who uses the ghosts and spirits from the building’s past to turn her life around. Following the performance of the rock opera, 2023’s tour also boasts a rocking, blazing, and laser-lit second set containing more of TSO’s greatest hits, fan-favorites, and surprises. In addition to experiencing the story at TSO’s live concerts this year, fans at home can watch a digitally restored “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” on their local PBS station.

Join us as The Hometown Foundation and Yankee Harley-Davidson host Back the Blue: A Ride for Remembrance on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in honor of fallen heroes, Lieutenant Dustin DeMonte and Sergeant Alex Hamzy of the Bristol Police Department and Detective Robert "Bobby" Garten of the Hartford Police Department. The day will include a motorcycle poker run, car display, food and beverage trucks, and a ceremony of remembrance. The event is open to the community. Come out and Back the Blue There will be a ceremony of remembrance at 1 p.m. before the event's conclusion at 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Hometown Foundation's emergency response pillar, which supports the families of the fallen heroes, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and the Main Street Community Foundation's memorial in Bristol. 

Try your luck and join us Saturday, September 23 on a Poker Run to benefit The Hometown Foundation. The Foundation has partnered with Teddy's Stores and Jefferson Fry Company to host a five-stop ride where you and your friends can enjoy a morning on the road, take a chance, and show your support for our local heroes! Registration is $20 per rider.

On the day you'll get your poker card, free food and coffee at every stop, and plenty of swag when the ride ends. The best hand wins a prize pool valued at $500. Join us in making this a truly spectacular event!

Join Hoffman Motorsports, ACI Dynamix, New England Supercar Club, and The Hometown Foundation for The Dream Ride Warm-Up on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Hoffman dealerships located at 40 Albany Turnpike, West Simsbury, CT, will be the home of a gathering of supercars, exotic cars, and more as we count down to the 2023 Dream Ride Experience. 

There are a limited number of VIP spaces available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those purchasing a VIP space will have a reserved space in the center of the car show. General admission for display cars is $20 / car and spectator admission is $10 / car. 

In addition to hundreds of amazing cars, there will be food and alcohol trucks, a bouncehouse, a DJ, raffles, and more. The raffle will offer more than $15,000 in prizes, including: 

• A VIP table for 10 for a 2023 match at the Farmington Polo Club
• A spa day for two at the Delamar
• An overnight stay for four at Foxwoods and four passes to Monza Karting
• Two VIP passes to The Dream Ride Experience

Join us Friday, August 4 for a summer celebration of our veterans and their families! Suits &Salutes, our signature suit series will take place at The Farmington Polo Club. This event will be hosted in collaboration with Save A Suit.

Veterans will be treated to a VIP suiting experience like no other. They will be outfitted with a free suit, professional clothing attire, and other accessories. They will also be treated to on-site resources such as professional headshots and more!

Military families and supporters are also welcome to attend to show their support! There will be on-site games and other activities for the entire family to enjoy. Veterans can register here.

The Hometown Foundation, Inc. teamed up with the Hamden Police Department and Eli’s on Whitney to raise funds for the Hamden Police K-9 Unit. On Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 5 P.M. – close Eli’s on Whitney donated 20% of all sales to support the K-9 Unit. Hamden residents, community supports, friends, and family joined us at the restaurant for a great meal, raffles, and K-9 meet and greets. Proceeds from the event benefitted the Hamden Police K-9 Unit consisting of Sgt. Venditto and K-9 Knight and Sgt. May and K-9 Blaze.
