International Ambassador’s Program

The Hometown Foundation’s International Ambassador’s program allows individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to take on the title of ‘Ambassador’ for the Dream Ride Experience. Tin this role, our Dream Ride Ambassadors travel the country and internationally to be a part of The Dream Ride Experience’s inclusive environment. Each year, select ambassadors are invited to travel to Dream Ride Australia to experience new cultures and engage in new relationships with friends across the world.

Our Dream Ride Ambassadors have the opportunity to expand their cultural awareness and understanding by visiting a new destination while building friendships that span across domestic and international borders. Our ambassadors enhance their interpersonal communication skills through new conversations and relationships and increase their self-confidence by having the opportunity to engage in new and diverse activities.

The Dream Ride Experience and Dream Ride Ambassadors Program provides our Dream Riders the opportunity to feel included, valued, and contribute to an accepting environment while being a part of something larger than themselves.
